The coach starts a session
On the club's phone in the launch or safety boat. One tap, the crews going out are listed.
Phones share their GPS
The launch's phone tracks the launch. A phone in each boat, carried by the cox or a crew member signed in as a club member, tracks that boat.
Launches add their drive
A launch with a drive unit on its electric outboard adds rpm and battery over Bluetooth, so the coach knows there is charge to get home.

Safety
Who is on the water now, where, and when each crew was last seen. The safety officer sees the same screen ashore. A crew not seen for five minutes is flagged, in words.
Coaching
Speed and split per 500 m for each crew, from GPS, laid over the session. The debrief starts from what happened, not what the coach remembers.
The club's data stays the club's.
Every reading joins one central record, but each organisation sees only its own view. The harbour does not see your outings, and is not told your club exists, unless the club agrees to share.
